Upcoming Mac OS games you can play in 2023 and beyond

What’s great about the Mac platform is that in recent years it started focusing more and more on gaming. That’s amazing, because there are some exceptional games for you to try out and have fun with. With that in mind, we have lots of games coming to the Mac platform, some of which are completely new, while others come as a port from an already existing Windows version.

The Medium

The Medium is launching on Mac this fall and it’s an incredible game with an immersive, unique gameplay and lots of impressive features. The ability to control the same character both in the real world and in a dangerous side world is what sets The Medium apart from many other games. And with this new Mac version we will have complete support for Mac OS, along with some director cut style additions.

Gaucho and the Grassland

A lot of people like the idea of creating their own ranch and managing it the way they want. Gaucho and the Grassland gives you that, while also focusing a lot on the world of Gaucho culture, while still having an incredibly cute set of visuals and relaxing gameplay. It’s the type of Mac game for the entire family that you should definitely check out.

Death Stranding: Director's Cut coming to Apple Mac in 2023

Death Stranding: Director's Cut has been on PC for quite some time, but it’s been absent from Mac and now it finally arrives to the platform. The game is quite long, it gives dozens of hours of entertainment, and it’s still incredibly engaging, but also full of creative mechanics and side challenges. If you are a fan of open world, large scale games, this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

Lifeless Moon

Exploring the Moon just to find yourself on a familiar town from Earth is very strange, and that’s the premise of Lifeless Moon. You need to figure out why that thing exists in the first place, why we have a large city on the moon and what led to its creation. It’s exciting to see all these things and how they all add up, so it’s a great idea to give this game a try.

Naiad

Naiad is a game about exploration, enjoying a massive game world and interact with the flora and fauna. However, not everything is perfect, as every location hides secrets and you need to figure out what those secrets are. It’s a lovely indie game that a lot of people should consider playing if they want to support more creative, fun games.

Moonstone Island

Moonstone Island has a lot of hype around it because it looks like Stardew Valley, it’s also an open world game and a deckbuilder. You have over 100 islands that you can explore, they also allow you to tame spirits and craft items. It’s the type of game that’s very impressive, with lots of content for everyone, and it pushes the boundaries to help create a new way to play.

The Last Faith

The Last Faith has a lot of things going for it, with the brutal gothic world it takes place in being a major factor. On top of that, we like the gritty gameplay, the visuals are out of this world, and the game itself doesn’t shy away from being very engaging and creative. Plus, the gothic landscape is stunning and the title does appear to be similar to Dead Cells, which is a major plus for a game in this genre.

Windy Meadow - A Roadwarden Tale

In this game you have 3 protagonists that need to explore and eventually defend a large village. It’s a game with a very immersive story, and you also get the opportunity to choose what choices you want to make. It’s a clever title with lots of amazing opportunities and in the end it’s totally worth considering if you love fast paced, creative games with incredible mechanics.

Varney Lake

Visual novels are always exciting to play because they add a lot of value and character into the mix. The game shows how a group of people try to have fun during their vacation, only to encounter a vampire. That truly changes their perspective, they don’t know how to react, and they try to find a way to tackle all of that in an appropriate way. In the end, the vampire and their lives change completely, and it’s one of those games that will impress you with their unique approach and style.

Super Zoo Story

As the name suggests, Super Zoo Story is a game where you simulate the ownership of a zoo. The game does have a stunning pixel art style that makes it very similar to Stardew Valley. It also comes with multiple RPG elements that create a very engaging and inspiring tone. If you like pixel art simulation games, then Super Zoo Story should definitely be on your radar.

Temperia: Soul of Majestic

Card games are super popular and Temperia: Soul of Majestic tries to bank on that by offering players a unique way to play around with creatures and acquiring new cards. The ability to forge your own deck and seeing how good you fare against others is amazing, and it truly adds to the excitement and fun that a lot of people want to have with this type of game. If you are very passionate about creative and unique card games, this one is for you.

There’s no denying that Mac OS has a lot of great games coming soon, so it’s a good idea to prepare for them. Whether you are into explorative games, card games, RPGs or just chill simulation games, there’s definitely something for everyone. All you have to do is to check these out for yourself, and we guarantee you will have an amazing time with all of these. Rest assured they are totally worth your time, and many of them can also be played with the entire family as well!
